Buying a DVD-Writer

So, I have to buy a DVD-Writer, but I can't afford to get an expensive one. My options are the cheapest ones I found from LG, Benq and TEAC.

The TEAC is the most expensive of the three, but I hear that TEAC is not what it used to be in the optical drives industry.

Any suggestions on what I should get? Or maybe a link to a site with some RELIABLE tests?

I bought an LG a month ago, and it's awesome. I've been able to back up everything I wanted on data DVD's, and the thing was only $80. It can write dual layers too.

A DVD-Writer? Easy: NEC ND 4550. Extremely reliable, and around 45 euros. Or the ND 3540 which is some 10 euros cheaper. No contest.

That is, assuming you're talking about DVD-writers in your PC.
