So anyone checking this out? I'm one of those rare COD players who plays the games for the Single Player campaigns. The thing is that the last few have been complete shit and really, the last decent one has been Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2. They never were meant to be Tolstoy but the ra-ra jingoism and cartoon enemies got to be ridiculous. Ghosts, Advanced Warfare, and Infinity Warfare pretty much soured me on the franchise. However, I maintain a special love in my heart for Modern Warfare and the idea of something bearing its name (reboot, prequel, or otherwise) intrigued me enough to pick up a copy. I really enjoy this game, I've got to say. The campaign may only be six hours long but its perfectly serviceable, homages many RL events, and has actual EMOTIONAL DEPTH! I mean, not much of it, but enough that it is a non-infinitesimal amount. I also enjoy the maps that are now much larger and non-corridor shooter ones. There's some great level design to with the one set in a London house being my favorite so far, followed by the Embassy siege. This is a solid buy for me.
