Can’t transfer photos from iphone to pc!?

First time out of the vault
There are some photos in my iphone and I have to transfer them to my pc for editing. So I synced my iphone to computer and open itunes. Normally the pictures will appear on itunes but this time the folder was empty! I really don't know what’s going wrong! Could u pls help me...
 
Which iPhone do you have? Have you signed up/logged into their cloud storage solution?
 
Normally you can browse the iPhone's pictures just like it's a USB drive. Go to My Computer, find the iPhone (listed as a drive just like any other removable storage drive), open it up, and there ya go........
