Carrion Kabobs

Confalone

Still Mildly Glowing
I dug out my old fallout 2 recently while packing to move. At the back of the manual there's the Carrion Kabob recipie, which I hurried to make and let me tell you they were pretty goddam delicious. I deviated from the recipie a little bit and marinated the lamb for about a day. I love theme cuisine like this, on May the 4th for may the fourth be with you day I made "bantha burgers" and "blue milk russians".

Like I said, I love theme cuisine. So I wanted to know what other ideas were floating around out there for fallout themed cuisine (as I plan on having a fallout themed bbq/party soon) Obviously Bantha can be substituded for Bramin burgers and maybe Lobster for Radscorpion etc etc...

p.s. no bramin fries :P

Try including Midori sour as a cocktail option. It's a girly drink, to be sure, but I'll sometimes order it because I'm known among friends as "the Fallout guy" and it's unique green color makes it look decidedly nuclear (plus I've got to admit, it's pretty tasty). Dress it up with an atomic age epithet, and bing-bang-boom! There you go. (I'd recommend "Gamma Gulp" or "Roentgen Rum," but it lacks the kick to sell the name and it's too flavorful.)

If you haven't heard of Midori-- not to patronize, but on the rare occasion that I order one, I often find myself pointing the bottle out to the bartender-- it's a melon liquor. Straight up, it's generally too sweet, but taken sour it's like a sweet-tart alcoholic kool-aid.

Hah, yeah I'm pretty familiar with Midori, I was a bartender for 2 years. Great idea, I'm gonna have to pick up a bottle next time I'm out to enjoy the gamma-gulp cocktail.

I remember FO1 manual having some Mushroom Cloud Cake recepie

Yep, it did. And Desert Salad. It looks totally delicious.
