Forstly, that poster is an idiot.

Secondly, please don't post only links, at least quote and summary.

Thirdly, why so many distinct threads about Oblivion on GGF?

I like this quote

Apparently, the fallout fanboys at nma are the most rabid people on all seven internets

and this guy...

I love Oblivion, and I'm sure Bethesda will do a superb job wih Fallout 3. And if they use this engine to create it, even better.

Oblivion with guns... like the idea!

and...

Falloutboys scare me.

My vote for that kind of cattle is for castration* and a subsequent jack-booted re-education of good games with a Cluex4 present to slap any remaining stupid from them, and then send them back to their jobs in fast food. We can't kill off that many of the untermenschen class, else who would cook our fast food?

Think before you order the execution of the intellectually inferior, when there IS some viable use for them other than fertilizer.

Rosh:

obviously you didnt think it through.

do you really want someone that stupid making your food, taking your order, or even like cleaning your toilets?

i would be fearful that they wouldnt know how hot the food has to be, couldnt trust them to not spit on the food, not use the gloves to handle food, or even use cleaning agents properly ( like not mixing bleach and amonia ).

thats why i advocate death.

Hmmm, true, you do have a point. Sometimes you just have to Darwin out part of the herd. :D
Isn't playing God fun?
Hmmm... Oblivion fanboys are stupid and so is the Radiant A.I.... I sense target marketing.

the AI is anything but intelligent.

about the only cool thing i have seen is the enemies strafe.

otherwise its 100% broken. they need to worry more about patching this mess than working on even web development to sell the add-ons.

the sheer fact they are finishing up add-ons rather than fixxing the shitty AI and bug riddled game filled with game-stopping bugs and crashes really says a lot.

all in all, i would say oblivion lived up to my expectations. eg: something to not even play.
