So... Last time I made a thread at this section, I introduced you to MGQ. I admit, it was a huge mistake, seriously. Now that I look at it, I see how flawed the story is and just dumb. However, there is a kind of sequel made by the same company known as MGQ Paradox. It is basically a jRPG, but with different type of game over (Monsters Raping our Protagonist). First of all, there is much less adult content than in the trilogy. In fact, you can play the game, without seeing more than breasts of the monsters. Which is already an improvement, over the orginal. Second of all, it is much better designed and written than the orginal trilogy. There are more characters, the world is much more believeable and the story is really damn good. To put it simply, the world is different than it should be, a Paradox so to speak. And our main protagonists set out to uncover truth behind it. Traveling to alternate dimensions, finding how some of the worlds turned out and much more. Then there is the combat itself. There is a lot of depth in it. Every character has got several races they can choose, depending on their origins. A Lamia can become a Boa Lamia, Miko Lamia and Something. Each race has got a bit different stats and resistances. Then there are jobs. There are three types of jobs - beginner, intermediate, advanced (Not in the first part). From a simple warrior to a mighty necromancer through Paladins and such. The amount of depth and strategies you can create is simply astounding. Mastering each class, gives more skills and abilities for the character to use. All in all, it is a really good game, with a good plot and characters. It is not an RPG, but if you like jRPGs, then this one deserves some attention.
