Dual Fallout 3 FAQ

I've just started to read the FAQ and this immediately caught my attention:
Release date:

Release date is set for Q3 2008.

If I remember correctly, the teaser ended with the note: "Fall 2008", which means Q4 not Q3.

No it doesn't. 'Fall' is Q3/Q4 (August-November), not just Q3 or just Q4.

I thought 'Fall' stands for Autumn. Autumn starts on Sep 23 and lasts till Dec 21 on the northern hemisphere. Q4 encompasses months Oct, Nov, Dec, so 'Fall' is predominately Q4.

The only sense I make out of your deduction is if you were referring to the Irish calendar where Fall is counted as the whole months of August, September and October, though it still leaves November unexplained and the fact that you have 4 month span, instead of three. Then, to add to confusion, there's the meteorological terminology that counts the entire months of Sep, Oct and Nov as 'Fall'.

Would someone care to elucidate?
