I am always wanting to modifiy the games I play to provide a better experience. With Fallout 2, there are some things I'd like to know how to do. Would be jolly nice if anyone knew how to..
1. Modify the different unarmed attacks.
2. Modify caliber of melee weapons and unarmed weapons (without the game showing how many shots they have left)
3. Modify thresholds of the steal difficulty of actors (Is this script based, stat based, or is there a specific value that decides this for every NPC?)
4. Make NPCs angry if the player attempts to take stuff from their house, like in Vault City, but not if their steal skill is over a certain threshold.
5. Add more places where the player can use the underused skills, such as repair, science, and traps.
6. Modify the amount healed by first aid and doctor based on the skill level, or making it useable max 3 times a day, regardless of it fails or succeeds.
7. Make the XP reward from skill use scale with different variables. Steal could scale with item size stolen, lockpick with difficulty etc..
8. Make kids flee as a default combat action.
