    cooll, thanks men.

    and since this topic is about the compendium...
    there is some advance in the text/history of the game allready to come with the next update? there is no one qualified yet to rewrite at least the main story or some submissions?. you will gather ideas from various people and then begin to rewrite or will be a almost one man job?
    and the "global travel system" mod? it will be on the next update? this one adds travel system, the car, random encounters and conection to other places, so i presume it's obrigatory have him.

    so, what to expect on the next update?

    hey Dubby, the code you posted just solved half the problem. I still can only do one atack on vats, how I fix that? (please Dubby or someone who know aswer quickly)

    If u check this forum u will find alot of ideas and writers and some this writers are really good but to remake the story in game or even a single quest its alot of work and thers not much ppl that are skilled enough to do it

    hum... i didn't understand the "people" thing? sorry for any "engrish", english is not my natural language (hum... but that sounds like one excuse... well, i am kind of lazy to some things, hahaha)

    well, I have a good idea: someone put all the text files of the main mission and all side missions on separete files and put the links. then anyone that want to try to rewrite or at least make a little better the text for "side mission number X" or "main mission part X"
    can take and later send to the one that will be in charge of check and fix (if acceptable) the texts.

    then, from time to time, the men in charge can post one mod with the best rewrites and stuff. the ones that are really coll are marked that can not be rewrited anymore.

    then, after some maybe not to long time all of the texts of the history and side missions will be rewrited.

    of course there will be a inconsistency personality problem, but that can be fixed until the final version, hahaha

    I think I've been having a lot of crashes related to the new weapons. I know it's beta, but I felt like I should report it.

    The desert eagle, it has a technical name I can't quite remember. HMK23? Also moltovs.

    It's tough with Fallout 3 because I don't know if it's just crashing by itself or if it's the weapons, but I've been replaying the same spot over and over and I've noticed crashes sometimes when the AI fires their shots, sometimes when the moltov explodes, sometimes when I take it off their corpse and put it into my inventory, sometimes when I equip them.

    The weapons you posted run fine in 1st person on my machine. However I have had one AI crash when they fired their weapons. I'm leaning toward the AI on this one. What are your graphics settings and computer specs? I'm running a Core 2 Duo 2.6 ghz with 4 gb ram and a Geforce 7600 with 256 mb and it kicks ass, though I will be upgrading the Graphics card soon.

    If you are running anything less, you may try lowering the video detail. The models seem to run fine on my PC, You may also want to create an archiveinvalidation if you haven't already.

    2.3 ghz core 2, 3gb ram, and an 8800gt

    And yes, it usally is the raiders' fault, those pricks. I don't think I've had a crash because I fired a weapon, but sometimes when I loot them or equip them.

    comon... and no one know the code to I disable that thing of be able to do only one shot in vats?

    dam... i was waiting for that second code to finaly play the compendium...
    well, I will have to wait for the next update.

    now comon: there isn't any idea about when the next update will come? (and without that modification on the vats/ap or with modifications on the modifications)

    The ability to queue up multiple shots was removed intentionally so it's unlikely to change in future releases.

    I disagree with it as well, as jamming on the spacebar seems no different. But I can also see how getting three or four really good headshots off while the AI is only able to piddle bullets at you can be slightly more unbalanced.

    uuh wait, what? so you must re-enter VATS for every new shot? that sucks. i mean not like iwas gonna queue 20 shots there, but telling your char to shoot someone twice in a situation that makes sence was a great abilty. why remove that?

    Yeah, that together with the "every shot OUTISIDE of vats cost AP" that broke the compendium. and ,since it's been a long time with no updates and the author rarely respond the questions here, I am worried that this mod will not go foward.

    The problems and complaints people had with the beta version won't be applicable in the finished version, which is still being worked on. More specifically, I'm still working on the mathematics behind the formulas for energy weapons.

    dubby, just please make sure that the user can install/not install the VATS-only-one-shot-at-a-time option, or at least include instructions on how to manually change it when the mod is out.

    dont know about the others, but for me not having the queue possiblity would hugelly screw up the combat gameplay. and since i am playing self-made "realtime vats" mod, it does not really matter how many shots i queue, since everything after i hit "OK" then happens in real time (or proportional), so the enemies use up their AP and i use up mine like outside VATS

    ..or WILL NOT enemies use their AP while VATS mod is on?! not 100% sure on that

    hahaha, with that last coment of me I was expecting that maybe you would appear.

    now, please, respond to some of this doubts:

    1 - what you think of the GTS mod? it will be on the compendium or will be a recomended/required download? or you will have your own version of aleatory combats/car/conectivity with other worlds, etc.?

    2 - when the new version comes out, what will be the modifications about vats and ap? certainly without the ap cost to every shot and the unique shot, but will have some other modifications? new areas to hit (eyes, groin)?

    3 - can you tell something about the next update? besides the formulas and updated classic weapons, what will be new on it?
