That's very far east. Plenty of scope for new lore and stuff. Are you thinking of relating this to Fallout Tactics in any way?

Careful there. If the mod is any good, Bethesda will simply copy it and make it Fallout 5.

As for advice: Look at Fallout 4, and then do the exact opposite. You should end up with a masterpiece RPG.

Tbh I have no idea for the main story yet I want to make it more role playing focusing on developing quest for certain character types. E.g If you wanna be trader I will make prices varry through different vendors so you could trade somethings at different places to earn caps. So the whloe idea is makeing it more role playing sp there not one set story. However I'm adding like a main quest to every place I make.

The only thing I would say I'm basing it on would be the boneyard, I kinda think a city within an old city is a cool concept !

I'm not worried about that , heck I'd even make it for them if they payed me to do it ! Yes I do like shooting mechanics but I just feel so much love for older fallout games thats why I chose this engine rather than falout 4 engine and it has benefits of the dialogue system whitch hopefully I can take fall effect off. I must have put in more than 100 lines of dialogue

You seem on the right track. Quest design as you say where scenarios can be done depending on character skills are the biggest must with quests (imo). Quests can change completely when taking skills into consideration. Level design has to be developed where combative, stealthy and dialogue approaches can all be implemented.

Although honestly, if you just give the character a choice of who they can side with (like in the Boneyard) then that's good enough to satisfy roleplaying needs.

With new features I guess you should focus on stuff native to Atlanta. New Vegas did this perfectly with the Mojave, implementing everything from Elvis impersonators to Mafia gangsters. What was nice though was that they gave a solid explanation for why these Vegas-esque elements existed (such as Mr House favouring the Omertas for one of the Vegas families because they reminded him of the Mafia).

Or you could go the Boneyard route and completely strip away everything notable about Atlanta. Make it a whole new post-apocalyptic city, with only a few nods to the fact that it was Atlanta with smaller details, rather than big noticeable ones like in Vegas. What weapons are favoured in Atlanta? What's the animal life like? Stuff like that.

Then from there, just try to come up with an interesting backstory to post-apocalyptic Atlanta. This is key, because it will affect everything story-wise. Are these new communities a generation after the war, or a good two hundred years later where settlements and towns have developed, or some point in-between?

I don't know how far you're into the project so apologies if I'm coming across as patronising.

Yes I am working on different ways to finish quest and different skills and special stats effect dialogue options ect however these quest are quite hard to write has having 4 different ways to finish one quest can make it more than 4x hard to make. Therefore I trying to just as many quest for different player styles and you just have to figure out what ones will suit player style.

Yes adding new stuff to suit Atlanta might be difficult to add all new features but having things such as the world of nuka cola work well. I wanna have some simulator but I'm going to change a lot as ovi I'm limited with time and the buildings I can actually make. Like i'm only retexuring buildings and not designing completely new buildings.

Yeah i've got a few ideas for the backstory. I dont want there to be a main story like new vegas but make it more role playing. Just a city for the player to explore. I basically wanted to make a new version of the strip but make it bigger and more impressive

No no not at all. Well i've made some decent progress seeming though I've done it alone and started no knowledge of the geck. Someone posted a comment saying it added 3 hours of time to there game play so yeah
