Fallout 2 mod Fallout: Nevada (extended)

I have a problem with merchants. After a while they stopped resupplying and I'm literally out of ammo for my gun ( ammo parts as well actually). Is there any way to fix this?

Yeah there are a few script and engine limitations regarding merchant restock.. as far as i remember those were 3months from start second was 8 years from the start and final was 13 years from the start.. all are ommitable by means of proper scripting.. Nevada finished developing before second fix was invented, so after playing for 8 years merchants stop restocking.. so either you got your sfall set improperly and a very fast cpu, or you abused speedhack feature too much, or you were bumfucking around traveling from town to town instead of actually playing the game

Well usually I like to take my time with games, I'll give you that haha. I guess I will have to speed up my next playthrough...

Hello guys. Check out my Fallout Nevada Redux Mod, which I did for my personal Fallout Nevada Game and want to share.
It improves the game in various aspects and aims for a complete and in general more Mad-Max-like feeling by aiming to be true to the original mod and fallout lore.

PS: Although it doesn't address the above mentioned problem with merchant restock after several years specifically, it improves all merchants stocks throughout the game and deals with a lot of issues of the original mod, bugfixing and gameflow-wise..

Hi Pyran or whoever might help me. Love the mod, never thought after all these years I'd be experiencing a near-authentic original fallout experience again. Truly grateful to all the people who dedicated so much make real what I'd consider sequels/prequels to the original fallout series. It's something I've always wanted but had lost hope for due to the death of Black Isle, dream come true. But let me get to the point.

My game is encountering a bug when the "distress call from vault city" movie clip occurs. After the movie clip shows, the location of vault city moves on the world map to NW of Poseidon NPP. It cannot be accessed from the world map at this point but can be accessed by requesting escort by a vault city patrol. Accessing the city through the patrol lands me in the city unchanged from before the movie clip. This is my first play-through but I'm assuming the city is supposed to change somehow after the clip is shown on 20 JULY 2242. Screenshots for reference below and also a save file just before the occurance. Leave to the world map and it will happen in moments.

I'm really enjoying the mod so far and want to finish the game, is there anything that can be done to fix this on my end? I've backed up my save files so reinstalling is an option.

Hi, I installed the mod as instructed in D:\steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 2\Nevada Mod (Extended). I played for a while, and near the end of the game, it suddenly stopped with Vault 8’s distress call. But I hadn’t done anything until that point. Afterwards, Vault 8’s location shifted on the map—I thought it wouldn’t be a problem, because when heading to Vault 8, the guards were accompanying me there. Then, when I reached the end of the game, I got another notification from Vault 8, but this time I couldn’t go there. I think it was because the people in Vault 8 had died, so the guards weren’t showing up either.


Apart from that, in some small areas when talking with characters, an “error” line appeared. I guess those “error” parts happened because they weren’t translated. Also, in the Wind of War area, even though I stole the car and went to its owner, he didn’t react at all.

Merhaba dostum, sanırım Nevada modunu anladın. Ben de Vault 8'in haritadaki yerini değiştirme sorununu yaşadım. Bunu nasıl düzeltebileceğimi biliyor musun? Oyunu şu şekilde yükledim:

ve savaş rüzgarı estiği bir ortamda, arabayı çaldığım halde, sahibi bana saldırmadı.
