I gained +3 luck from that dog.If you can't do it I think you don't do it right way.You can't do it after taking the dog.And I think you need mininum 5 luck.If you don't believe me I can prove it.I can send you I save file before killing Pariah dog and you can see it yourself.(only kill the dog with Bozar and gain +3 luck)

Okies, you do not gain any luck after killing the parah dog, i killed the damn thing with mah trustly pulse rifle and i had 6 luck afterwards(the luck i started with) instead of 2.

It just doesn't happen. Yes, if you kill the dog your luck goes up. Why? Because your luck went down when you got the dog. You don't gain any more luck when you kill the mutt then you lost when you got it. I personally verfied this today.

If you don't lose -2 or -3 luck(I can't remember)and get jinxed trait when you encounter pariah dog you can gain +3 luck.It's the only way.Don't you read my posts.My luck stat was 5 when I was doing it.I hit the dog from my position(don't move when you enter the Pariahs) and closed the combat mode.Then I walked around it but don't click on it(it is important don't click on it).Checked my chacter and I saw I got jinxed but my luck stat was 5.Then I killed the pariah dog and gained +3 luck.I did it by this way.I'm not sure but when you get pariah dog you lose -2 luck and if you kill it you gain +2 luck.But if you do it like me you will gain +3 luck.

Are you sure you lose 3 luck when you find Pariah dog and get jinxed trait or perk.Because I think you lose 2 luck.Did'nt you read my posts I told it several times.If you lose luck when you find the dog you can't gain +3 luck.If you can't do that it means you are not doing it right or something wrong with my game.After finding my save files I tried a few times and I never losed luck when I find the dog and get the jinxed trait with 5 luck stat.But I tried it with 4 luck stat I losed 2 luck.(I didn't cheat.I get gain luck perk to have 5 luck stat).So I gained +3 luck without cheating from Pariah dog.I can send 2 save files.The first one is before getting jinxed trait and the other is after doing it.And I didn't lose luck after getting jinxed trait.If you kill the dog you can gain 3 luck easly(the first one)But if you think my luck stat is 8 and I lose 3 luck you can try the second one.But if you can't do it there is nothing I can do.If you trust me I can send that save files to you or tell me how can I prove it.

Look, if you encounter the dog your luck will go down to 2 no matter how high it is.
I've killed the dog in some of my games but never gained more luck than I had.

The Pariah Dog is a random encounter, and it's SUPPOSED to decrease your luck. You need low luck (in game) or high luck (in real life, as long as you're looking for it that is) to meet it. My guess is they exploited some bug to GAIN luck from it.
