Whenever I leave The Den I get an Enclave encounter that shows 3 dudes in uge enclave armor killing a guy a woman. At least thats what's supposed to happen (i played the game before), but now when they start shooting i hear *radadadada - aargh - splatsj* etc., but my screen turns black and i get an error......

PLEASE HELP fallout rules & sucks
( i cant install patch its not on this pc, and i dont want to fuck around with 20 disks)

You can do two things. 1) load again and agian and again untill you are through that encounter. Sad thing is that you can not avoid this encounter so it will come up again or download the patch. The patch seems to fix this. Sorry, this is probably not what you wanted to hear.

Im now at my other parent's home with my athlon 600 (fallout does load one hell of a lot faster tehn on my p200), and cable connectoin, so install that patch & get past shitty enclave :) too bad I can't steal their armor... *g*

Now one thing - will i be able to play the patched savegame on my unpatched pc...? and another thing, i used to play the game on my p200 and i had the encounter without problems, now on my 2 pc's it crashes.... grr...

hey boer whatever... Try this, uninstall the game and than install it again on humongus install. If that dosent work try defrangmate the hardrive.. If that dosent work either, try getting a new copy of Fallout2 i recomended the orginal us version or you can just bye a new english version....

Heres a hint dont bye a pirate copy of the game try to get the orginal cd..

If it dosent work after all this trouble you probally need to install windows again., if it still dosent work get a new computer.....and download a patch

hehe I posted this few months ago, installed patch and restarted game quite a while ago... Tnx anyway :)

Btw Boer_kameeL = Farmer_cameL or Camel_farmeR (something like that - long story :)

For some reason or another, sometimes the game picks specific times where it has an error, no matter what, until you patch the game. I had one where I would open the door to get myron, my character's hand would fall to his side, and the game would crash. It is just wierd.
