Challenging the Dragon

When fighting the Dragon's people, I'll win my fight but they still stay on the screen and fight me. It's hard to win when you're facing 2or more opponents. Eventually I had to take psycho just to win but I'd prefer to have stayed clean, as I don't want to become a druggie until after I've won the game. Also the guys I beat stayed in there while I challenged Lo Pan. Is this a common bug?

It's happened to me. A lot of times (and I tried reloading to get rid of the bug) I'd "win" a fight before throwing a single punch, then be stuck fighting half the Dragon's guys, AND the Dragon himself at the same time, ugh. Fortunately, I'd managed to beat them all (2 ranks of bonus HtH damage, 2 ranks of action boy, bonus unarmed attacks, both dermal implants, and the toughness bonus from being a prizefighter, 175 unarmed skill; all helped a LOT)...

But try fighting all the Dragon's guys, the Dragon, all Lo Pan's guys, and Lo Pan all at once! Fun, if you can manage to get them all in there!

This happens almost always in pre-patch versions & 50% of the time in patched versions (it's supposed to be fixed - go figure) but by saving before you start the fight & starting over if and when things go bad can redeem this. Also reloading the game during the fight causes major problems, so don't - just fight them all without saving, this'll be easier in the long run.
I just beat the Dragons pupils & Lo Pan at lvl 6, 120% unarmed, +2x jet, 2x psycho(i couldn't speak other than "org Urgh aghh" after that) & buffout (didn't get addicted to anything though), and just making aimed hits on groins & eyes.

Heh heh...this happens to me too. My solution is to simply kill the guy. After knocking out my opponent, instead of ending combat, I kick him when he's down and keep attacking until he's dead. Oh wait a minute, you're a good guy, since you're talking the test of the Dragon. Switch sides. Turn evil. :) "If you only knew the power of the Darkside..."
