how many wrenches & 1 place i havn't seen mentioned

Question: How many wrenches are there in the game? Who has the top count? Just asking cause i read the board through, and saw many people asking for a wrench (i've found about 10 without looking) , wich i foud weird - as they aren't rare or anything.
And for the place that i noticed noone mentioned to get a wrench:
In Vault City give the boy his Nixon doll (sickening thought -a doll of Nixon) , and just stand next to him untill he tells you were to get a wrench...

I thought that was the most common place that people got their wrench, actually.

That doesn't apply to people who don't have the children patch. Heck, I only got it myself just a while ago, and I've already finished the game 5 times :-)
