[FO2] Low Intelligence is HILARIOUS

Low Intelligence is HILARIOUS

I was screwing around with one of my save files (i was using that Falche2 that lets you modify your character) and i put my intelligence and charisma to 1 each. I've never seen how dumb you can really be. for instance, i went to the Wright family and talked to the guy guarding the door, he says "who are you?" my only option of speech was "shama lama ding dong"
so then he tells me "beat it dimbulb. if you talk to me again ill fill you full of holes"
so what does my highly intillectual character respond with?
"HOLES, HOLES, HOLES IN MY SOLES"
then he yelled at me more, and i proceeded to make grunting noises at him, just before begin shot...athough i did get a good laugh out of the whole thing

You should play the whole game like that. You get to hear all the funny stuff then.

How did you finish an entire game with a character like this? I tried a character with 1 or 2 in each stat once, and I couldn't get any quests. Even the people in Klamath wouldn't give me quests.

Buy, steal, loot or scavenge every mentat you can get your hands on. Pop 2 mentats before talking will bring your intel up to normal levels. Still, couldn't beat the game with intel of 1 though. Couldn't get enough skill points. :(

You can get Torr's quest even with intel of 1 (Hilarious dialogues). Sort of reminds me of the conversations between the two "idiot" jailors in Monty Python's "The Life of Brian."

You don't really need the mentats...

Give yourself intelligence 3, don't take gifted, and pick skilled, for 16 points a level, which is pretty good.

The only problem with the dumb character for me, is that the only way you can get the car is by repairing it yourself, and I can't do it even with 100% repair skill..
