Reputation Problems in Modoc

I finished the quest of ghost farm with 3500 xp, only found no single karma point gained in doing such a BIG favor for Modoc. The reputation remains "accepted" in Modoc, and "neutral" in ghost farm. Really pissed me off.

I know from Per's guide that the reputation is remained "neutral" in Ghost farm, but i remember i am "idolized"in modoc when i played fallout 2 first time. Any one could help me?

Basically you have to be careful not to do anything wrong in Modoc to lower your status...

Liek don't kill the Chicken, and if you heal bessy, don't "save" her. Otherwise the only requirement is that you finish all quests properly. I don't remember if the watch affects your status (since you get shit all over town).

I have done nothing bad yet in this Game yet. I have tryed several times, whatever i finish this quest first when i arrived Modoc, or finishing the caw watching/ gold watch searching quests, the result is no different. Anyone can help me?

Hmm, do you have the UK version of the game ? Because in that version there are no kids. This eliminates one quest in Modoc, the Johnny quest. So because you have no kids, this quest can't be resolved and you can't be idolized in Modoc.

Mine game is US version, and 1.02 patched. I accepted the ghost farm and jonny quests at the same time. I am supposed to be "liked" after i solved the Ghost Farm problem, but no karma points gained. And even no Karma points gained after i returned jonny to his parents (only a jacket with XP). But i could gain positive karma after finishing Rodent Cleaning/Gold watch/Caw watching quests in Modoc. Weird, huh?

This happens before, so this time i arrived Modoc quite late. I have been "idolized" in Klamath, Broken hill, and even New Reno.
(Have not finished quests in Den, VC and Gecko)

Hmm, weird, very weird. But i wouldn't be the resident smart ass without having one more question. Did you got hitched by chance ?

Hmm..., I agree with JR, if you refuse to marry either of them, that may cause a problem. How did you give back the watch? Did you told him where you ACTually find the watch? Did you ask the Mayor guy(forgot name) to cut off his finger? Did you find Karl, or did you ask Modoc to go raid the ghost farm? And one last thing, did you take anything you shouldn't have and got caught? Such as the lost and fount box?

No kidding. I ran had my character run away after I ran away from the father. Then when I re-entered the town he just started to attack me. So don't do anything stupid with those two unless you want extra NPCs
