For those who didn't find Advanced Power Armor in Newton

It's in the trailer park !!

one of the big stacks on the north side has ladder you can get to 3rd floor, go to that stack, get to 2nd floor, enter next trailer, from there is a ladder down to another one, but the ladder is concealed by the plating of the trailer, try use the CTRL + LEFT CLICK around until you find it, below in a freakin' FRIDGE is the APA !! (damn.. why the hell would they put a huge suit of super advanced technology power armor in a fridge !?)

just seemed to me like everyone I talked about didn't find this thing, enjoy
 
Is this true? Never checked this before. Free Power Armor, we'll see.

Yes, its true, for all you doubters, its in the reaver barracks in newton. Go inside the encampment and use the ladders to search the stacked trailers on the north (left) side.

If you've been able to buy power armor twice with the quartermaster (I have), that will give you 3 sets of PA when going into Canyon City. 3 guys with Power Armor and Energy Weapons can make short work of the robots there and in Buena Vista.
 
You get to buy 1 APA from QM about 2 missions after NEWTON, and just before you departure for the last mission, you can buy 2 more, making it 4 total APA's in the entire game.. that's as much as I ever got.. but I have 2 charisma so someone may get another extra ?
 
I still don't get it, actually.

Where?

There are two stacks of trailers in the barracks. There's on above you when you enter the park and one below you. I never had any luck getting into any of the ones below. I've been through the ones above, but never found anything.

Anyone know, say, the colour of the trailer in question, or something like that?
 
Like I said, the ladder down can not be seen, you have to use CTRL + LEFT CLICK, you HAVE TO, and just try around different areas until you get it by luck, and it's the northmost stack, the stack that you can get to 3rd floor
 
i cant find the APA !! help !!!! is the ladder going down ?? or up ?? , what do i have to find first ???
do i have to get to 2nd floor first ? and then go down in the next trailer's ladder ?
is that correct ??
 
Found it! Thanks, this is one of the best tip yet in FOT. The extra Power Armour comes along way.

You also get 99999 Advanced Power Armor on the 2nd to last mission. All you have to do is buy them from the QW. You can buy 99999 of all the items in the game there!!
 
that's great, I only bought 3 APA in the entire game, 2 were from right before the departure of the last mission, 1 in newton, and 1 after newton
 
Yep, One building in the middle of the group on the north side has a ladder in the middle of the room from the first floor to the second. Go east, outside on a little walkway and go north into a room that is pretty unremarkable. This room has an exit to the north which goes outside onto a rooftop, but you don't need to go outside, b/c the room has a ladder going down in the middle of the room. However, the corrugated tin wall on the west side of the room blocks it from view. So, CTRL- LEFT CLICK around the middle of the room to find the ladder back down to the first floor, and there's the APA.

He's right, it is there. It may be hard to find but it is. I found it myself, thought it was after about 20 mins of searching.
