FOT: unable to load campaign from saved game

Hi,

I dunno what's happened with my FOT saved games, they all just do not load, FOT says "Unable to load campaign". It's very strange, 'cause everything was OK yesterday. Reinstalling the game did not help me, I get the same error. BTW, I didn't apply any patches. Please help :-(

I had this problem and i couldn't fix it. i had to start again :(
If you can't possibly start again try patches or sometimes loading in different ways ie from in game worked with me and some earlier saves were ok (about 2 missions old though), but not always. In fact if it loaded or not seemed completly ramdom at times.
Maybe check no other programs except systray and explorer are running or try a scan disk or system file check in msconfig32.

Lemme guess, you had an installed version of Fallout Tactics, and had patched it and saved a game. Now you can't load the game, the reason is probably cause you haven't patched it to the same version you had when you made the savegame..
 
I tried patches and stuff when this happened to me cos I knew it needed to be patched to play saves from a patched game. But no joy...
