Gamestop pre-order goodies confirmed

That actually looks really awesome. The only way it could be better is if it was actually a 7" vinyl EP. That would win Bethesda lots of cool points, but they'd need to unlock a lot more achievements than just that to persuade me to buy the game, let alone pre-order it.

Usually you only get a T-shirt or a poster

And those shirts are almost always ugly as sin. But I guess for free stuff it's presumptuous to ask for more than the game's logo slapped on a single size of white shirt. Actually, I saw a guy walking around a couple days ago in a Doom 3 shirt. I'm trying to wrap my mind around it. Surely a gamer dedicated enough to wear a Doom 3 shirt would have a game shirt more recent than Doom 3? Or some fancy Penny-Arcade or Jinx shirt? There doesn't seem to be any reason in my mind to wear a Doom 3 shirt.

I'm curious, how many people here will actually buy Fallout 3?
No talk about illegal download please.

Barring across-the-board bad reviews or Crysis-high PC specs needed to play, I'll most likely buy it. Don't think I'll throw down the money for a pre-order or the Collector's Edition though, especially if Steam carries it. I'm still trying to figure out what the heck bobbleheads have to do with anything.

Looks nice, but I won't buy it, just like the game.

Is it only available in US? Wonder why.

To be honnest : I will probably buy it if the gameplay videos look acceptable to me. So far it sounds like an ok crpg, better than most crpg's out there these days ( at least it seems that there is a bit of choices and consequences, something I haven't seen for a while ). Will try not to compare it to previous episodes and enjoy it for what it is. Also : I totally need that artwork book so I guess that I'll go for the collector's edition. I know that by buying it I will support Bethesda's take on the licence but I don't really care. So far, from what I've seen, I prefer their take than what was done with Tactics.

But I have to wait for videos for a final decision though...

Cenega, the Polish publisher, had a poll on its website about what people want in the Polish collector's edition of Fallout 3.

Nearly 2000 people voted and the results are (in that order): Vault water flask, bottle of Nuka-Cola, bobblehead and t-shirt. Cenega will now look for manufacturers of these items and publish the results on the website soon.

I don't know about you, but IMHO the flask and Nuka-Cola beat the crap out of the lunchbox anytime.

They're trying to bribe us! "Buy our crappy game, and you'll get those cool fallout-ish gadgets!"

Now, when you're saying that I can get my own water flask and a bottle of Nuka-Cola...

...NO I WILL NOT BUY IT ANYWAY! I'll be strong!

Corporate agent ;)

DAMN YOU CENEGA! MAKING ME WANT TO BUY THIS GAME D:

You could order the Polish one. :) In the Polish version of FO3 you'll be able to select either Polish or English language of the game.

Good thing too. I bet the Polish translation will suck donkey balls.

Heh :P

American original "Yo motherfuckers, whats happening man?"

Polish translation "Good afternoon gentlemen, how do you do?"

No, they hired excellent translators this time around.

American original "Yo motherfuckers, whats happening man?"

Sorry for spoilers, but in the dialogue files I've seen so far, "whats" is actually spelt as "what's". Hope I won't get sued for breaching my NDA.

Yes, yes they do. Kinda make me sad if my only option is lunchbox and bobblehead. Sort of hope it'll end up for import on GoGamer, like The Witcher. That'd be a much cooler goodie pile.

Lol! That is how actually is going to be...probably :D As long as I remember, Polish translations were always bad, just watch The Matrix with Polish subtitles and you'll see how badly they can do it!

What ever, go back to topic. (so Brother None won't call me a spammer again)

Only 5 songs on a CD really sucks.

Yeah, and only 2 of them are an actual soundtracks? Megaton- yuck :?
Beth is acting ridiculous again. It'd be funny if they only give us FO3 CD box with Beth's autographs on the cover, and then when the game will be released they will send us a CD with a game :)

Hmm, they're selling it only in US? Maybe because in Europe is more criticism around their design of Fallout?

I can assure you it won't be that bad. :) We'll do our best to make the Polish version as good as possible. Of course, if your English is good enough, it's always better to play the original version. Fortunately, the Polish edition will allow you to select the language.
