How to load holodisks into the pip boy

Heya guys. This post is actually on behalf of a friend. I'm a huge fallout fan, but lost my copy long ago, but can't seem to help him. I tried to get him to register for this forum, but the only email he has is hotmail - so I'm posting his problem for him. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

"I'm having a very strange problem with uploading data from holodisks I pick up in the game. Save for the ones you get from the book seller in the hub every time I click on them in my active invetory to use them I get "nothing happens." No data appears within pipboy, I get "nothing happens" in the text display and I'm at a real loss on this."

Any ideas as to what he's doing wrong would be extremely helpful. Note that this is a fallout 1 problem. I think whats happening is that its giving him a crosshairs, and he's supposed to click on something - tries clicking on himself - and gets that message. I have no idea what to tell him to click on in order to get those holodisks to load.

Well, this is what you have to do. Its pretty simple. There was a similar question to this earlier. But..
When the Holodisk is in your inventory, just right click on it. A little mini-menu should appear. Drag the mouse down to the Hand icon, and then select it by releasing the mouse on it. This will "use" the holodisk and the info will appear in the pipboy.

Also be aware, that though most holodisks can be loaded onto the PipBoy, some cannot - like the one you get outside the Military Base (has "broken" written all over it's description )
