Location of Fallout: BOS story

Oh my god!!! They updated the page just when I was browsing it!!! Man this is soo cool!!!

Anyway, in story section it says BOS will take place in MIDDLE NORTH AMERICA, but we all know previous Fallout games took place in WESTERN NORTH AMERICA! What do you think, what effect will it have on landscape (if any) and the geopolitical landscape? We had tribes at the northwest, population of devastated cities at the southwest, NCR united North California... What are we going to see in middle states?

It would be cool if we had a possibility to meet or see Fallout 1 or 2 hero, like in Half-Life: Oppossing Forces.

*Cough* I guess you're the real authority on what would produce "bordum," huh?

Number 1: Fallout takes place in a post-nuclear world. ALL places in the world, with exception to total wilderness, look dead, barren, and about as bleak as "cornfields and soy," if not bleaker. Do you expect to any more people someplace else? The most populated zones would probably be wiped more.

Number 2: You're basing your assumptions on STEREOTYPES of places. Siberia is more interesting than the mid-west? Hell, there's probably no place more desolate than Siberia, and its HUGE too. The entire United States could fit into Siberia, but the population of the whole of Siberia is probably less than the population of Nebraska, if not Kansas City.

Number 3: Just your message itself destroys your credibility. What elementary school grade are you in? Your state should spend more on their education.

Oh, FYI: Chicago is considered part of the eastern USA.

hey my spelling works (sort of) it gets the point across most of the time and so far as everyone hear is conseuned you arent paying me and you dont have a hold on me so i can damm well spell any thing any way i want PS. i live in the mid west i was born in wasconson began school in IN. and grou up in IL and im still stuck hear finishing my education in Indainapolis (damm nobel romans nestaga) i would hope that growing up in the mid west would lend my words on the subject a little weght (and since when has chicogo been part of the east i dont think so) btu any way its the thought that counts not the spelling (and i was only slightly exsagetrating on the siberea point (read that list coment with sarcasum and dryness)

my appologys on the spelling vew it as a realy thick acsent i was trying to be funny about how if BOS is placed in the mid-west that there is nothing hear (Xotor i hope your reading this) at least the west coust has mountens (i think the tallest natueral object in the mid west is a mole hill i could piss over)

"Middle North America"? I thought that BOS was something that was created specifically in California? How the heck are they going to explain how a BOS squad got all the way out to middle America?

That's what I was saying!

Is all mid-north America mention was coincidental, or we should expect some story twist in this? BOS, I believe originated from refugees from The Glow, which was located in southwest. How did they get in mid-north.am. is gonna be revealed later - unless it's a mistake.

Maybe after Fallout 2, the BOS decided that they were NOT going to be taken unawares by any organization like the Enclave again. There can't always be a Vault Dweller or Chosen One around. And as such, they assigned YOU the mission to make a round trip through the former USA, and gather what infomation you could, what potential threats there could be to the "free" world. Selecting 5 others to make the trip with you, you set off. And then this game sets you in middle North America, were you uncover a plot by secret organization to conquer the world (War never changes). Deciding you don't have time to go back to warn the BOS, you decided to be a badass and beat this bastards before they have a chance to put their plans into action...

i said it before and i will say it again what matters? the soul or the body. as for my spelling, bealeve me the fool if you wish, it simply allows me to serprise you with less efort who knows maby contoting your mind threogh the strange twisted path of gramer and langwige some of the lesser spellers the world use will give grater insite into life (dont ask me how its posible, not probible)

maby it is eaven sipler it could simply bee an a form of esploration the BOS could simply trying to find other serviers and remnets of civ. noting wrong with that mishion is there
