My fallout 1 game crashes when leaving the glow...

I just finished exploring the glow but whenever I try to leave the last outdoor area into the world map it crashes.

I've done some research and most of the clues point to the problem being the map save file being corrupted. I did step on some landmines while inside of the vault...

I have tried fixing it in the following ways:

• Replacing some of the other map save files excep the one I'm in.
  
  
• Replacing all the other map save files excep the one I'm in.
  
  
• Doing the previous but when already ingame with the loaded game already in.
  
  
• Replacing the map file where I am from the file from other save folder.
  

I have been about an hour fiddling with the files with no success (I did a coppy of all of the save folder before tinkering).

¿Am I missing something?
