New computer and Windows 7, can't start the game....

First time out of the vault
Hi,
I just got my new Windows 7 computer and am installing my games. But Fallout 3 WILL NOT START! It simply pops up a window saying "Fallout 3 has stopped working" and tells me there is a problem. Uh, duh.. I've re- installed, tried the compatibility thing, I don't know what to do...

I'm no computer expert. Thanks for your help.

Do you have a second monitor?

If so, try disabling it in windows 7, or trying playing in windowed mode, it might work aswell if you play in the same resolution your using normally in windows.

If you launch the application directly this can sometimes happen. However, even if you were to get it running the performance would be terrible on that graphics card. The minimum supported graphics cards are a GeForce 6800 or Radeon X800. The Intel 965 unfortunately doesn't come close to that level of performance.

Give us a list of specs and we'll go from there.

Edit: Reading the above post, i'm led to believe a spec list has been posted. /Confused.
