If I was feeling okay with torturing myself and wasn't buying ammo for my 9mm for the shooting range then I would. I might get it for really cheap once the inevitable GOTY edition(HAHAHA) comes out and ends up on sale on Steam.
Of course I will, Im really excited for it. But Im gonna spend my money Starcraft 2's expansion pack since it looks like its actually worth the money and its release date is 10/11 too.
Oh yeah, forgot about StarCraft 2 Legacy of the Void coming out soon. That looks like its worth the money. Be really hilarious if it ended up getting higher scores and better reviews then Fallout 4.
I wonder why gamers now expect modders to fix the flaws in so called AAA titles when the developers themselves show a lack of interest in doing so. Don't modders in general want to add to games rather than fixing the flaws that damages the initial gameplay session? I fear there may come a time that when a new game is released that buyers will actually have to wait until the modders are done with modifying its content before they can finally start playing their new game. And it will be considered normal by game publishers.
It's not all gamers, it's pretty much just Bethesda' games. People are so used to modders fixing their games that they believe that modding is part of the developer's plan.
Then if anything, their customers should question themselves why they support a publisher that sells them half finished games which need to fixed by people in their spare time.
Apparantly it was just my imagination. I thought there was some animation for picking up a weapon which was missing in the leaked videos, but it seems there never was any in the first place. Ah well, my bad
If you consider their games half finished than 99% of all games are half finished. Are Bethesda games flawless... of course not. But there are almost no games out there that give the players as much vlaue for their money (time wise).
They did claim that, but it is an outright falsehood sprayed at us by their PR clown. None of that vague stuff that Pete Hines calls "the rest" has any effect on the resolution of skins that their artists are making, or the lack of complexity of model skeletons and faces. The visuals were compromised because they use a 10+ year old engine, and develop for consoles as a result of being cheap and lazy and trying to maximize profits. Also, map designers, engine coders, writers and such are not the same people as the graphic artists who make the models, animations and skins and textures. Those are the people who make "the rest" and the quality of their work is not somehow inversely proportional to the work of completely different people who work on "the visuals".
Well they get away with a lot of things though. Not just bugs. But one of the worst issues, for an RPG, the writing/dialog.
Oh god the dialogue. I would seriously pay for a mod that adds those mst3k guys as a screen overlay, they'll have 20,000 lines of dialogue to interact with the 13,000 lines of dialogue, letting us know just how bad they are.
