Hi! For some reason, each time I try to create a bink video file, it works great in game, but there is never any audio to it, I mean not anymore. I used to be able to create videos with audio, now I just can't. The file really have an audio (I can hear it when playing the video OUTSIDE Fallout Tactics), but it never gets to play IN the game.

The only difference I am able to notice between both videos files (one that do play the audio and one that does not) is that the one that don't work miss the note "(old format)" next to the audio codec in RAd Video "File Info...", even if all other parameters are identical. In VLC, I can see "BAU1" is written as the codec instead of "BAU2" that seems to be the one that is working. Unfortunately, using Bink video application, I fail to be able to setup my audio the right way.

Does somebody have pointers on what should I do to "repair" the audio of my videos? Or if there is another tool I can use to "bink" my videos?

If I recall correctly, you have to add 100 to the audio compression value. If it has a value of 4, make it 104:

No problem. Glad it works. :salute:

You have to add 100 because FOT uses an older/outdated BINK codec/player or something like that. :V
