    ..how do you rotate turrets?
I figured out how to rotate other entities ( tanks, APCs etc)...but there is no rotation button for turrets...

    There's no rotation button fullstop.

The animation rotation fields is below the player index field. Just like for every other actor and some other entities.

There is no index/animation rotation for most entities( except vehicles)...I had to go into the entity editor(not the one on level editor but the one on the main screen) and under apperance adjust the rotation there...and save as a custom entity.
I intially set it to 16 ( which will move a vehicle 180 degrees) but it is 360 for turrets..so 4 is 90..8 is 180..etc

    I'm rocking now!!!

Campaign ( and not an ugly one like Awakening) forthcoming!!

I have nothing but time...No I'm not in prison! Just confined to a zero gravity bed...

    And no more dumb questions...

    Peace...

Er no. All entities, have a animation rotation field in the level editor, I think they all have a player index field as well but I can't remember off the top of my head.

The only entities you can't rotate in the level editor are those that have sprites that only face one direction. Once you've placed your entity press F4 and scroll down the entity information on the left of the screen until you see the animation rotation field.

Humanoid actors can face 8 directions, turrets 16, and vehicles 32. The only time you should need to make custom entites just to change rotation is if you want to use some of the unused sprites that have no default entity already made.

    Good Luck.

Why bother to rotate turrents anyway? Doesn't the turret itself rotate? Or are we talking about the same kind of turrets?
I'm talking about the laser floor turret dohinkies.

It just looks neater, if the turrets are facing the right way to begin with.

It's not exactly difficult or time consuming to rotate stuff.
