    I never thought I'd love using grappling hook ambushes but the status effects it can cause, quite a boon. In fact, status effects are now useful for technicals and now I no longer sacrifice those skills..

    Plus the QoL improvements are quite neat and a good fusion alarm may net some endgame skills for low-tier Personas. Digging P5R atm and still going through it.

    They nerfed firm stance + divine pillar. Now it's just worthless... why Atlus, why? I get that it was OP, but considering how late you got it, it seemed fair to have personas that take 1/4 of the damage. With this thing, you might as well never put it on persona.

    Get persona with trait dying will, angelic grace, ali dance and last stand, never get hit.

    The Will of Sword trait is crazy. On Yoshitsune amped up by Fusion alarm strengthenings, triple charging his power charge and buffing him sounds like an insane recipe.

    EDIT: But I hear the Apocalyptic Fury trait is crazier?

    It's because it's wrongly worded. YOU DONT TRIPLE the charged damage. Instead it increases charged damage to 300% from 250%. Maria also has passive that heals 15% hp and 15 sp per turn, but it says that she halves status ailments.

    So apocalyptic fury, does 2.5 damage * 1.4 which is more than 3.0 damage.

    Btw, they locked out the most broken persona behind a paywall. Izanagi no Okami. That thing can take almost half of the twins health with a single concentrate + heat riser.

    Satanael doesn't even compare.

    I see. Looks like I gotta rebuild Yoshitsune then but I think that's more than possible.

    Atlus's DLCs are getting ridiculous. I suspect Sega implementing this tbh as Yakuza 7's New Game Plus has been locked away as paid DLC iirc.

    So, that's why... Fuck Sega, they murdered Sonic and many other franchises. Now they will ruin SMT and Persona series. Next persona with limited save slots, experience boosters and half of the compendium in DLCs. I hate corporate scum.

    Still, here are some builds, I came up with. Feel free to use them/modify them:


    Trait: Heretic's Charisma

    Skills: Instantheal, Demon's Kingdom, Black Viper, Spell Master, Riot Gun, Arms Master, Cripple, Regen 3


    Trait: Will of tree (allows use of surround only skills)

    Skills: Instant heal, Regen 3, Concentrate, Charge, Enduring Soul, Spell Master, Thermopylae, Debilitate


    Trait: Apocalyptic Fury

    Skills: Hassou Tobi, Arms Master, Repel Fire, Repel Fire, Repel Ice, Repel Wind, Repel Nuke, Repel Psy, Repel Curse


    Trait: Immunity

    Skils: Repel Ice, Repel Electric, Repel Wind, Repel Psy, Drain Bless, Drain Curse, Concentrate, Heat Riser


    Trait; Demon's Bite

    Skills: Drain Fire, Drain Curse, Instant heal, Enduring Soul, Salvation, Saintly Devotion, Saintly Words, Saintly Embrace

    Izanagi no Okami

    Trait; Country Maker

    Skills: Myriad Truths, Victory Cry, Spell Master, Drain Bless, Drain Curse, Amp Almight, Magic Ability, Instantheal

    Item: Divine Pillar or concentrate thing


    There is secret boss fight on ng+ different from twins on 3rd semester. To put simply, it's the hardest fight in entire game. Not even Okumura boss fight can compare.

    There are 4 phases and it's ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO DO SOLO. I have tried before looking up what the phases do.

    You need 4 personas that use fire, wind, ice, electric attacks on 1st phase or Izanagi no Okami (almighty is resisted). Buffing is good, especially charge and concentrate. Debuffs are great - debilitate.

    On 2nd phase, you MUST deal technical damage each turn or it's game over. It's also the only phase where ailments actually work.

    On 3rd crit each turn with physical or it's gg.

    The last phase is the easiest. No more gimmicks, just good personas. Although do not use personas who are not at least resistant to physical damage.
