I'm not sure if you're being a smartass or not lol.
I'm assuming it's like Fallout's action points compared to like D&D's movement, action, bonus action system? Action points being more freeform and the other system giving more emphasis that some characters move further in a turn if desired and getting multiple actions is a huge deal since you can't sacrifice other things to get two actions like standing still in Fallout might let you.
I'm being a smartass now, but the first question was genuine.

Yeah, characters get action points based on stats and perks. There are also movement points, which can be provided by some equipment, and a resolve resource, which allows characters to use special attacks and abilities.
