Reverse engineering Fallout 2

@Lexx I hear you. In general, getting Fallout 1 running correctly in F2:CE is something I've been thinking about so that two versions of the engine don't have to coexist (F:CE exists, but it's very unlikely it'll be maintained at the same level as F2:CE).

Could you point me to some docs about what exactly is needed, and how to test it? Adding features is feasible but I don't know much about SFALL and so it's hard to know where to start
