So what do you think the Vault Boy's voice is?

It hurts to say this, but to me Vault Boy has become the official mascot of "I'm a hardcore Fallout fan. I have over 6000 hours combined in Fallout 3 and Fallout 4. Look at all this sick merch I ordered off the Bethesda website."

And to think he used to be somewhat of a counterculture symbol and a seal of good RPG design. Now he's a goddamn sellout.

Does the Vault boy look weirdly skinnier in the latest promotional material?

Looks like he's contracted a nasty case of marketing department syndrome.

Speaking of the Vault Boy, i'm so sick and tired of him. Every time i see him now i just get a surge of anger, specially because of that shit eating grin.
luckily, vault boy still means good old fallout for me.
as for his voice, i really can't imagine that. even a vault boy with a comic bubble or anything suggesting that he's saying something would feel strangely odd

For some reason, I imagine him sounding like a slightly deeper sounding Mickey Mouse.

To be fair, he's the mascot of a gigantic corporation in-universe. He was always a sell out. haha.

Whenever i think about a good "icon" or iconic image to represent fallout... i don't even consider Vault Boy. I think he's an image that people who never played fallout seriously have of the game.

"Oh hey it's that little guy from the fallout games.. yeah... what's his deal in the story anyways?"

I get that a lot from "fallout fans".

I get frustrated when looking for new backgrounds on fallout and there he is.. always smiling.. as if he's some kind of omnipresent entity that's the key for everything in the game

:flameon:(place vault boy here)

I always imagined Vault Boy talking like a mickey mouse kinda character, as he obviously draws inspiration from that kinda era of animation.

I imagine him to sound like Gregg the Grim Reaper.

Vaultboy is like Tom and Jerry or the Pink Panther, he is not meant for talking just to be expressive. So no doubt Bethesda will have it talking in Fallout 5.

He'll also be romanceable and a possible spouse.

Yeah, I never really thought about that too much until now, but it's true for me as well. To be honest if I picture 'Fallout' in my head, I just see the NCR Ranger from the cover of New Vegas. You fucking badass...
