Startup and patching problems

If I install the game, and try to run it....it gives me the no CD error message even though the DVD is in the drive problem that goes away when I restart), then when I try to update it with the 1.6 patch (doesn't matter if it is the us version or the UK version) the game still sais that it's running the 1.0012 version.

Any thougths about the problem

Try reinstalling the game and update it through the GFWL. ya should see some msg "gfwl will close if you dont update" When it updates u will be 1.7 and with no need of dvd in the drive.

Know its a huge topic bump but it might come in handy for some users.
