I am not perpetually stuck, rather I am physically stuck in a crack of a bridge on the way to Arefu, anyone know how I can get out (perhaps via using console command) or would I have to load my last save?

    Cheers

I've been stuck a few times.

Easiest way to get unstuck is to fast travel to the nearest location. As long as you aren't over burdened you can fast travel.

Sometimes being hit by an enemy will knock you loose so I imagine you could try to knock yourself loose with a grenade or rocket launcher.

    Hope this helps.

I always unload nades in Megaton, because I dont have any use with them whatsoever.

I completely overlooked Fast Travel though, thanks!

This problem also occurs inside buildings at times, so that you can't fast travel. For future reference: open console with `, type "tcl" to turn on no-clipping/flying.

My last quick save was In megaton, which was quite a bit out of the way to aref :P

open console by pressing ~ and type tcl

its command to no clipping, so get out, and type it again to turn it off.

Anyone playing a Bethesda game should've learned by now to save often, and in many different files.
