Fallout/Wasteland fan Erik Tidemann recently shared some photos of his Fallout & Wasteland collection with us. It is by far the most bananas post-apoc video gaming collection I've ever seen.

If anyone can match this, I invite you to share!

So you are from Ukraine (even from Kiev). Good to see a fellow countryman being such an active member of Fallout community. Cheers...

And yes, I'd love to have a chance to take a more detailed photo of some items for The Vault's promotional items articles... But if not, these will do.

Not being a collector, I don't understand the need to have 4 identical copies of a game. The space is pretty righteous (especially the Brotherhood Statue) but I'm just baffled at the repetition in items.

I would guess one is for show, the other for use, and the last one for sale. Alternatively the last 2 could be for sale.

Quality issues of each item, minor details that a missing differnt etc, sounds odd but they all effect the value of a item in the end run and it's also a bit of bragging rights I have X that has the miss print of the word Egg on page 92 etc...

I myself collect antique fishing equipment and I am starting to collect a rather nice collection of antique cameras not to mention lighters. and I have multiples of some items because they are mint or identical apart from one minor detail.

Camera collecting, that reminds me that I sold my professional Analogue camera for like 100 dollars but then I realized that, with analogue cameras being discontinued, I could've sold it for WAY more than that.

I've been wanting to add one of those statues to my collection for a while. Put Santa hats on it and bikinis and shit when we have parties. And relocate it to behind the front door for when I am away. The house keeps getting broke into. Bet they would run for the hills if that was there to great them instead of my thirty minutes to a hour police response time while my alarm sings to them, lol.

As for multiple copies... Some might be variations. I know I was ordering a copy of Fallout 2 (listed as original and unopened... and $10, which was odd) it turned out to be a pirated dvd thing. Its odd... But I hang onto it and actual was kind happy. I've got enough versions of it already to cover my ass legally. Original, and F1&F2 collections of several sizes, Fallout BOS, guides, etc. Just more of a curiosity for the collection when I see things I can afford.

    Nice collection though.

You would be surprised how much you can get for them, there is a market for pre-60's professional cameras and a slightly lesser market for the 60's - 60's era market but that is starting to gether momentum.

I am after this at the moment while you can't just go and get off the shelf film you can get respools where they take a roll of 35mm and cut it down to size in this weird jig to make the camera usable again. It's about £10 for 5 Rolls so not that bad in terms of real value.

At the moment I have this little beauty working really well.

(Edit: That is not a photo of my Camera but it's the same model).

It takes BW 120mm Film which is surprisingly easy to get hold of and having it developed is nice and easy too, a bajillion places do it online and I know two places in the city centre that will do them in under a hour.
