The Magical Dissapearing Mercenary Camp

Earlier this week my friend told me that just north of the Horowitz Farm in New Vegas is a mercenary camp, with an interesting wild wasteland easter egg (I have this trait). He said if I had the explorer perk I should see it on the map (I did have said perk), but after hours of searching I couldn't see it on the map anyway, and the thing is, i'm sure i've seen it on the map before I just couldn't be arsed to go there.

I then looked on the vault to tell me where it went, yet it didn't tell me anything. I'm not sure if it's just the fast travel icon taht is gone, or the whole thing, so can anyone tell me?

 

I think...I found it. Earlier today I was roaming round that general area, and an alien spacecraft assailed me! Three aliens tried to zappify me and I brutally murdered these infidels. Although I did get a cool alien blaster, this is how I like aliens in Fallout games, only implemented as an easter egg, not a full fucking dlc.
