could this be the new skyrim engine?
I'm guessing the fact that this is done in Japanese and was originally on Fallout 3's Japanese website means that it was just a fun project done by Bethesda's Japanese webmasters.
i don't, didn't the original fallouts come out 97 and 98?
It was a reference to Wasteland, the spiritual predecessor to Fallout. If I recall correctly, inXile is working on a sequel (at the very least, they have the rights to it), but I don't think there's any news on that front.
InXile is too busy working on Hunted: The Demon's Forge.
We assumed Jason Anderson was working on Wasteland 2 for InXile but he left the studio recently. So who knows.
He somehow is jumping around a lot since some time now.
Or at least into a fine red mist. I was disappointed the Desert Rangers weren't discussed more in NV but the Mojave Outpost reference was nice.
Oh of course... i never played wasteland but i have heard a lot about it. Decided i'd just respect it and not play it but now i'm kinda tempted
It hasn't aged well what with all of the dialogue being in a book that you have to reference. The most damaging old school copy protection as it really harms the experience.

I can actually understand some of the Japanese, but no matter what I do nothing ever seems to happen, every location just reboots whenever I choose any action. Is there like a guide for this or something?
