Bethesda has released three more screenshots of the upcoming The Pitt DLC.
wow, that first screenshot has to be the worst pr ever.
a bit of photoshop at the fire as it seems, a really low res texture on the armor (*hin* at bethesda: try the nexus!), a guy pointing a gun at you with absolutly zero emotion in his face and a generic dark factory in the background.
who ever decided to use this as ad should be banned to gametesting (or dialog writing)
Is THIS a Trog on the second screen? : O
Isn't this The Pitt? Or did they start hyping Broken Steel already?
No, that's Doom 3.
Bethesda continues to crowbar faux-horror into Fallout 3.
And all you need to do to kill them is just stand still and use the auto axe. They run into it.
The third screenshot, isn't that the wicker man?
Maybe Harold broke free?
First screenshot isn't very advertising (one of the worst official screens related to Fallout3's I've seen so far). Such poor textures are rare thing in games nowadays.
As for the last screen... what exactly is that? I mean I failed to recognize anything in this strange... creature? object? It's in chains so I assumed it's something alive.
On the first screenshot, the character in the background, I think its actually a woman!
I could swear at first that it was a guy wearing what seemed to be a hubcap or a mine but at closer inspection I think its some kind of bra.
Edit; regarding that 'thing' on the third screenshot, I think its some kind of statue, perhaps to inspire fear or awe or something.
Sure is ugly.
I'm not sure. The wicker man impression is sensible, because he looks like he's made of roots, but that's probably just bad texturing/colouring.
I would guess it's some kind of horrifying mutant experiment tied to the mutant serum quest. FAUX-HORROR!
Also, to the left and right of him seem to be pipelines, spewing gas which is on fire...
...fuck me, does Bethesda think anything through. Do they even keep in mind what caused WW III?
Or like the invisible man becoming... invisible... or visible?
Nah, I think its some kind of statue to show of the 'badness' of the raiders, probably the entrance to the arena or the hide out of the slavers' boss.
Looks like something using the disintergration effect (possibly a big end boss creature thingy judging by the blood on the floor). That or it's a statue with a really crap alpha channel map.
Bethesda manages to continue steering away from Fallout canon with each screenshot.
I really feel like trying out the Fallout 4 formula 1 racer game....
Trog=Retextured Ghoul that scitters around even lower to the ground.
Their body pose is pretty unique, so Bethesda put more effort in it than you credit them for.
Don't be shocked if the animations are shit, tho'
First picture, cool moustache. Best in Texas.
I don't get why these have to be Trogs.
They've got no Troglodyte traits, they're just violent mutants.
If they were Lobotomites, I might be a bit less apprehensive, but as they are, this is just annoying to me.
