Wow. That is just petty. Congratulations you have more voice acting then games made before voice acting in games became big.

    Is that number even right?

Because even if it is, it kinda proves that quantity falls flat against quality.

You know your game is absolutely shit when a 'minor' character like the leader of shady sands has more character than the protagonist/antagonist of Fallout 4.

Since I never purchased and played Fallout 4 I don't know if the number of dialogue lines is 100% correct, but with people posting pictures on the internet of the very bad dialogue wheel where you have four choices of Yes, Yes, No, Yes(Sarcastic?).

    How does that even...

I can't even talk about it because it just seems absolutely terrible. I don't even know what to say.

So someone here who has purchased and played Fallout 4 explain to me that absolutely terrible dialogue wheel and four choices.

It's pretty simple really: 4 console controller buttons = 4 dialogue options.

The game was designed for consoles, the PC version got the worst console port in the history of computers and gaming. Bastards couldn't even make us a PC-centric User Interface FFS.

    Eugh...

I hate to sound like an 'elitist', but...Console plebs ruin everything.

I honestly don't mind consoles, I love some of the console exclusive franchises.

As much as i'd wish they'd move to PC! D;<

Isn't the PC version of Fallout 4's Heads up Display (HUD) User Interface (UI), somewhat the same as the PC version of Fallout 3's Heads Up Display (HUD) and User Interface (UI)?

I'm ok with Fallout 3's inventory and Pip-Boy for the PC version, but Bethesda Game Studios has made them all terrible since the PC version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I mean The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion's parchment paper scroll looking inventory system looks ok, but the PC version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind has one of the best drag and drop and sizeable inventory systems ever on a PC version of a video game that is a RPG video game.

Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game and Fallout 2: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game.

Now imagine if both the PC version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and the PC version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim had the same User Interface (UI) that the PC version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind has on PC.

Now imagine it for the PC version of Fallout 3, the PC version of Fallout: New Vegas, and the PC version of Fallout 4.

With a User Interface (UI) like that for the PC versions of those three Fallout video games and all NPC's killable. And the removal of the dialogue wheel in Fallout 4.

It would be one of Bethesda Game Studios best RPG video games right? I mean Fallout: New Vegas was developed by Obsidian Entertainment, but I still would like to see either Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game's User interface (UI) or the PC version of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind's (User Interface) on PC.

Yes, most [if not, all] Beths UIs are just console turds, lazy, lazy, lazy cash grab corporate bullshit.

Back then most PC gamers would spend more than 3 seconds reading words on the screen [to fully understand events], back then the majority of gamers actually COULD read. Now, FO4 plays itself FOR YOU - see "Idiot Savant" perk: "So, you're too stupid to play the game huh?! Let us play it for you!"

FO4 is NOT a Role Playing Game, no matter how many crappy perks they shove into it. Your choices of dialogue in the game DO NOT MATTER and do not change the game world in any way, voiced protagonist takes away ones ability to project a voice inside your head for role playing purposes, "Oh, you wanted to play a psychopathic negro-german axe murderer? Sorreeeeeeee!!! We got this white millennial amerikan to do it for you, it's cool right?! Sincerly, Bethesda."

Oh, and mods will never, ever fix the horrible cliche story.

And the texture mipmap LOD settings are fucked all to hellenbach. Another by-product of it being a console port.

Bethesdas laziness can be proved by the fact that they couldn't have been bothered even patching Skyrim Remake - ALL the old bugs are still in vanilla and they just leave it all up to the "modding community" to fix.

Can you just imagine what would happen if Dodge brought out a car with no seats and proclaimed: "You can make your own seats! Kewl right?!" And they give you a bunch of old foam, some springs and a crappy old foot-powered sewing machine that barely works at all, saying "Now go forth and create! Don't forget to send us pictures of your seats so we can steal your ideas later on".

I got a refund for FO4 a few days after I payed top dollar for it, pretty lucky there. Then bought it back off a friend looking to unload his copy for $10.

    Still feel ripped off.

What exactly does this Idiot Savant perk do for you? Does it automatically make Fallout 4 in most ways play itself for you?

The immortal companion NPC's can also play Fallout 4 for you I guess since they can never die. You can send Dogmeat to keep killing the enemy NPC's and run over mines to explode them yes?

Good thing I never purchased and played Fallout 4 and saved $60 dollars (USD), even saved $50 dollars (USD), even below that since I never purchased and played Fallout 4.

I'm very happy I purchased the PC version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from gog.com twice.

I'm very happy I purchased the PC version of Divinity: Original Sin from gog.com.

Since I don't purchase any Bethesda Game Studios developed video games and I don't purchase any ZeniMax Media Inc. and Bethesda Softoworks published video games since 2012. I'm saving a lot of money.

I can keep my money and never purchase Fallout 4 at all and I will keep my money and never purchase The Elder Scrolls VI at all if it's like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or Fallout 4 on PC.

$60 dollars (USD) saved from not purchasing Fallout 4.

$60 dollars (USD) saved from not purchasing The Elder Scrolls VI.

$60 dollars (USD) from not purchasing Fallout 5.

That's $180 dollars (USD) I will be saving.

I played Fallout 4 at friends house. The only thing I liked about it, was the character creation system for how your avatar will look. The only innovation I thought was good. Everything else felt like utter crap. Gunplay, dialogue, NPCs, PLOT, etc.

We could even resize the map window and then lock it on the screen to have an "automap". We could lock any window (inventory, map, etc) on the screen from the get go. The Morrowind HUD and UI were awesome and until today I haven't seen any other game with such customizable elements without mods doing it for you.

    From wiki:

Tier 1: You're not stupid! Just... different. Randomly receive 3x XP from any action, and the lower your Intelligence, the greater the chance.
Tier 2: You now randomly receive 5x XP from any action. The lower your Intelligence, the greater the chance.
Tier 3: Randomly receiving bonus XP from any action may trigger 3x XP for all kills for a short period of time. The lower your Intelligence, the greater the chance.

This is how you reward stupidity.

So they have more voiced lines than two games that mostly have written lines.

It is like saying that your new Lamborghini drives faster than a tank. Sure guy, it might, but the whole point of the tank isn't speed. Speed can be a nice addition, but we want the thing to survive on a battlefield.

I played Morrowind for a bit last night and it saddened me that Bethesda broke their early promise.

Even through I've not even scratched the good stuff, I'm still having fun with getting through the initial learning curve.

Fallout 4 pitted me up against a Drathclaw in the first hour.
    Where is the progression?
    Where is the fun?

The progression and fun is in gathering junk and modding your weapons and PA and build a settlement or a vault like magic.
    Fun, right!?

True, although it's one of the earlier and easiest quests.

I miss deathclaws being 'tough', but not mega-monsters.
