URGENT HELP NEEDED

having freeze problems in Lloyd quest under grave in Golgotha so downloaded the 1.02 patch and it automatically unzipped it to my Fallout 2 file .

now i loaded game back up and all my saved game slots say OLD GAME VERSION or words to that effect........i was quite far into the game and will be severely vexed if i have lost the bloody lot .

please help..........................not v technical so be specific please guys and gals

Download the savegame editor from the files section of this website. Note: the converter only works on version 1.00 savegames. If you have version 1.01 you'll have to start over or reinstall and play without the patch.

you dont live in america do you?
i think the only edition with 1.00 save games was the american edition, so if you have 1.01 save games ( which it will say when you start up the converter) then you r stuffed.
(just like me!)
