The dynamic duo Haris and Miran created a brand new mod for Fallout 2, which they've called the Living Dead Mod. <blockquote>This mod is a bit like a zombie shooter game. But since this is Fallout 2, you'll shoot ghouls in graveyard looking dark maps.</blockquote>This one really takes me back to the days of Zombie Apocalypse (Wasn't life wonderful when you were 14? ) and also fits well into the latest upsurge of zombie-themed movies.

Just do a search on Haris here and at DAC, then prepare to laugh your ass off. :)

Like the other mod(s), this one is described to be as dull and uninspiring given the "development" team. In other words, unless you have a FilePlanet Premium membership or whatever it is called that allows you to bypass the queue wait, you will likely spend more time waiting for the download than have enjoyable play time of this mod. Unless you are as simplistic and dense as the authors. :)

People that don't even try to have a point to their work other than it exists, then expect people to NOT call it crap not worth the time to install, are quite sad. Why the hell should people bother to download and change an installation of their game in order to play something that neither adds to the existing game nor gives a new gameplay experience worth noting.

Looks like NMA Banned him and put a picture of a clown as his Avatar... Strange, anyway im going to try the mod out and report back with what I think.

ok i have JUST played it and i must say... it sucks... Pretty badly... All it consists of is killing ghouls which walk toward you, on maps which look ALMOST identical. (Let me give you a run down of what you'll find in each map: Blood, bodies, headstones, bodies, tree's, bodies, headstones and more bodies.)

Also there is no world map... just one big graveyard...

Haris is a bitch. That's all you really need to know.

His mods were pretty terrible, and when taking criticism for the poor quality/subject matter he turned into a whiny fuckbar. Kinda like what ROE Snake does. Doesn't matter anymore, because he's banned here, and probably won't last long at DAC, if he's still not banned there.

OT: Zombie shooter mod for Fallout?!??! I'm very disappointed.

I saw the same things...graphics moved and re-used with no alteration or conceivable story. Ugh...

You know, I had quite a large reply, but previewing the post before posting, I didn't have quite the same elloquence as Roshambo, so I decided to change it a little bit.

First off Silencer, my post was only slightly off-topic concerning the rest of the thread, however, as I was replying to a question posted in the previous post, there wasn't any derailment. I also ended the thread with a statement concerning the rest of the thread. Which you argued without adding any content. Either you are an incredible hipocrite, or trolling for some reason (maybe you helped make the mod, but are too embarassed to defend it outright). Either way, I probably shouldn't have posted.

Also, a little pic from time to time doesn't do much harm - it's not like I consistently flood the forum with them.

Dove, I've got no problem with your posting. I just found it odd that you've even taken the trouble of splitting your post in this manner. My point is, that the post wasn't very off-topic, but by marking it I got the impression that you may have been writing with an intention of off-topic posting. Well, maybe you shouldn't have replied, or maybe I shouldn't have comented. I haven't meant to troll and certainly I haven't helped make the mod.

Also, I thought that there might have been an insinuation here. To be honest, I thought you may be implying that I couldn't delete a post - which you didn't; I'm sorry for the misunderstanding.

Which also shows that flame wars are frequently just about that - misunderstandings (Remember the one I had with Alec a long time ago? Just a misunderstanding.)

Unless of course they are deliberate, but then aggain, trolls will be trolls.
