Windows 2000 Video card problems

Can't get Fallout 2 to install on my PC. I have a Diamond Fire GL1 graphics card which doesn't support the resolution that Fallout 2 wants to run in. Direct X diag fails on 640x480 16bit color mode. Any ideas. Thankyou.
 
windows 2000 is better for the net, but 98 is better for playing games...
(well, lots of people have told me that)
 
people that told you this were right :) Win2000 is better for net because of the security level it offeres, which is way much better than Win98.

But don't go upgrading to Win2000 just because of this. If you use Win98 properly, nothing can harm you.
