We all know that in FO3/4 they're all dead inside.

Basically, yeah. I can't think of a single character that feels a) interesting, b) believable, c) alive, in either 3 or 4. It's like Emil has a book on how people work but it's written in a language he doesn't understand and he manages to get every little detail wrong.

It's how Emil interprets people from his own mind.

That looks like speculation to me.

Edit: Apparently she mentions a "Robert" in her journal.
First the Alien City under the Mojave and now this. Fuck Bethesda.

Nah, Emil just asks the average gamer on what kind of character they want, he also plays COD. We have seen the result.

This might be due to me playing F2 recently and the fact that i haven't played any Fallout game since F4.

Guarding the brahmins in Modoc with the intention of saving them all.

Early game wich mean you might have a low % to hit all the wolfs? Check
Waiting for the 20 or so mobs to walk around every single turn? Check
Unless they die they will run away all over the map with high ammount if AP? Check
Being a melee char and the previous thing happens? Good luck wasting a lot of time in here! Check

It is such a simple quest yet i hate it the more i play it. Even worse if you don't have all your followers on charge as they won't go after the wolfs running away and if you end combat they will be quick to put you back in combat again before you got time to change anything with your follower/followers.

Wait. Worst quest in Fallout 1? Or worst quest in the Fallout series? If we're talking series that kid in the fridge shit was the worst. If we're talking Fallout 1, probably the Adytum quest in my opinion where you have to help the blades take over Adytum.

If we're talking individually per game-

Fallout- Helping the blades take over adytum
Fallout 2- Protecting those fucking brahmin in Murdoc
Fallout 3- The Super human gambit (this made want to punch the writers who made this quest)
Fallout New Vegas- A big majority of freeside quests
Fallout 4- Kid in the fridge

Meh, CoD 4 was okay, if only because at the time it was different.

Fallout 3: Operation: Anchorage. No role playing involved whatsoever, too much CoD. The world looks pretty what with all the bluish-white and the rewards are nice but that's the extent of it.

Fallout New Vegas: Come Fly With Me. It's a giant fetch quest, I dread doing it on any playthrough. It's interesting story is ruined by the fact I have to traverse the exact same areas multiple times and I have to enter Novac twice since the two items for the rockets can't be obtained at the same time.

Fallout 4: Kid in the fridge Too unbelievable, even for Bethesda. How can a kid even walk after being cramped up for 210 years?

Yes they can. Just go steal the thrust modules from Old Lady Gibson, steal five rockets from the Novac shop store room (or buy if you're playing a goody character). You can grab those first if you want, doesn't matter. But either way you can grab them at once, you don't need to go and turn them in first.

Oh, well I didn't know that. That's good so I'll keep that in mind for future playthroughs. To be fair someone told me this some time ago so I've should've known but it got muddled with something else at the time. The quest is still repetitive though.

Fallout 3: The entire main quest made me want to smash my head into my desk several times by how everyone kept talking to me like I was a fucking idiot, and the Intelligence Dialogue Options seemed to prove it.

Fallout New Vegas: The fetch quest for the vital pieces for Lorenzo in the Brotherhood of Steel, BUT if you do it right, you can hit at least 3-5 birds (quests) with one run through those vaults, netting you some seriously huge XP, Rewards, Reputation pointers, and even likes from your Companions, making the fetching pretty worth it.

Fallout 4: Cabot's House/Ghoul in the Fridge. Fuck that and fuck Bethesderp.
