    Didn't I hear something about armed forces all over the world starting to prefer other wheeled vehicles to tanks lately?

    Now without joking. Tanks are awesome, but they do need a lot of maintenance... and maintenance for a tank is much more hard to do than for other land vehicles. That is one thing I don't miss from my military life.

    The thing is, tanks aren't really a good weapon for asymetrical warefare. For their role on the battlefield, they need large areas, if possible with little to no obstacles so that they can manouver independently. So yeah, armored vehicles with wheels are becoming more of a thing now.
