Lexx can u make bozar ?
This is promising indeed. Why couldn't Bethesda do this?
Keep up the good work, I'd love to see some more weapons recreated.
There are already some files at Fallout3Nexus.
I - for myself - don't like the Bozar and most of the new weapons in Fallout 2, so I don't think that I would create a new Bozar. Sorry. :/
Good question. I think it is because they just don't wanted to do this. It isn't even really hard to recreate the old weapons... And I am not what I would call a real professional in 3d modelling.
The third one looks pretty nice, but I hate the version where the player holds it like a sniper rifle, like in the first one
The guy in the third one should have put some images with the PA, I always thought bozar looked better with it. Probably the size make is look like that.
Oh man! Yes, it might be a bit too powerful, but at least it wasn't easy to get it, and eats lots of ammo. But I liked it though. Better than the fat man by Beth :/
LOL i read description in that links and its the first time i heard that bozar was a big sniper rifle Oo
The bozar is based on the Barrett, as far as I know.
Correct, i think time constraints made it so that they listed it as a Big-gun and gave it the flamethrower/PLasmaweapon animation.
Yeah, but try to shoot with that thing holding it in the air...
When I am at it.... still wip:
What to hell this guy has on the left shoulder? A tire?
Finnaly a spear, I hope new animations can be implemented for a stab motion. Its just to bad that Bethesda didn't think about a fire mode option, like throw for the spear and single or automatic fire modes for the guns.
I agree. But with this spear it is ok, because it has a kind of blade on the side.
So if you swing it, it looks ok-ish.
If it's possible to use animations from Oblivion, then this might be useful http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13388
CrazyAce told me via pm that he has no time anymore because of private reasons. So, I am searching again someone who would like to create textures (and uv map) for the models. It would be great if someone could help me with this.
I wish I could help you, but I don't know anything about texturing.
It is still WIP...
I also started working on the texture. Because nobody wants to help (besides CrazyAce), I am doing this all alone now. So don't expect mega 1337 textures.
The first release: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3827
Still work in progress as seen. The "texture" is not good - because I made it. And I don't think, that I will get it any better.
Have you tried contacting Millenia about the texture for your shotgun?
Are you able to change the position of the gun on the players back? It's looking a little strange at the moment.
Also I think it would be hilarious if instead of making the classic shotgun a complete replacer, you left Bethesda's Combat Shotgun model for the 'Terrible Shotgun'.
The "Terrible Shotgun" has still the old look, I didn't changed it. I should add this to the readme...
Not really. I thought about this too because I don't really like the actual position... but it seems not possible. I can not change the position of the model itself because then it would be wrong in the players hands. Then I thought, I could make a fake backback... but then again, if you look at the minigun or the flamer, etc. the backpack is seen everytime and this would also be wrong for the gun and so on.
Maybe it could be possible to script something but I never scripted anything for Morrowind, Oblivion or Fallout 3, so I don't know too.
I don't know if here still somebody is interested (it becomes pretty quite in here), but... while the other models are in work now, I started the next thingy...
/Edit: With not fitting texture from the Fallout 3 10mm SMG:
