Gun Control 2020.
If you wanted a main weapon you should look somewhere in simplicity.
I like Ar-180 design concepts, but they aren't much better for access or use than an AK-74 would be.
It's fashionable to say this or that about certain weapon-systems, but if you have handled these firearms and thought about actually feeding and shooting them, it's hard to argue for reasons not to just get an AR-15.
The AR-15 uses direct impingement
Anxiously awaiting polymer AR15 grandma thread.
Ease for mass production at the time of inception. Forging and turning is more time intensive than stamping sheet metal and spotwelding it. But that's just the shell, you can make a polymer AR-18 now. It's called "G36".It's heavier and more complex. It's got a big-heavy bolt. It shoves the mass in the receiver assembly around at the fulcrum that causes muzzle rise when firing. It's noticable enough in certain applications to make it relevant.
It's inherent in any design of its type.
Ease of manufacture, with old manufacturing tools?
It's easier for me to now build my own AR than anything. I can make the entire thing polymer if I wanted to.

I see letters that spell out reddit. I ain't clicking that.also does posting this help?
Yo, I got tired of waiting so my vacation from this thread's over. Did it go anywhere positive and constructive while I was gone? Were any liberals convinced to become less radical, understand why human rights are good, and support gun rights?

I've seen weapons that discharge 2 rounds at a time (double-barrel revolvers) but firing 50 to 30 rounds at a time? Now THAT'S power! Even the most extreme weapons in my upcoming indie game Chessica Wildcard: Bigger Is Better In Battle don't go that high. I have one seven-barreled shotgun that comes close though.

I'm going to be real with you, I have no idea why we argue over this.Dude nothing is getting anywhere. Ever. We will be arguing over weapons 100 years from now.
Lefties want us disarmed and dead or in chains
