Fallout 2 mod Megamod version 2.47 Bug Reports and Suggestions

My companions lv up but their HP still the same old amount. Miria's HP is 105/35, Sulik's HP is 120/85. Miria get shot about 40 total dmg and die. How can i fix this. Also:
- When i join Lupen gang is an error
- Wrights family quest is bug too, can't get his quest
- Can't have sex with Bishop's daughter, it will be an error
- Zeta scan in NCR error
what was your install process?
 
Hello! thats strange: wanted to go to Vault city and Crash !

2.47 - broken (crash at temple of trials entry!)
2.46 - no download available ;(
2.44 - stuck with this one - it seems …..

Install instructions
fresh install of fallout 2.
Then Fallout2 MM version 2.47.8
Then Fallout2 Megamod 2.47.9
Then delete patch000.dat

No i didn't but i renamed it to patch000.bat. So i tried to remove patch file but still getting crash whenever i leave Navarro map or trying load save game when im at Navarro. If i reinstall the game will it work? I don't want to lose my all saves files :(

I cant say for sure, you would have to compare your version to the readme/changeslog in
2.47.8 & 2.47.9. not sure what bugs he fixed.
 
It's still have Navarro crash when leaving the map after i tried to clean reinstall the game and the mod - delete patch file :( Rushed from Arroyo to Navarro lmao
 
I don't know if is because I upgrade the sfall ddraw.dll or not, the elevator in EPA is massive headache, the elevator bring me into vault 23 and some elevator on the left cant even access floor 5

Looking around, one post (i forget where) says that all power armor equip has been disabled.
another says i need training?

havnt played MM in 10 years. glad to finally be back and to experience whats new. but the touch on a mass changelog or aspects of base game changes is a bit lacking.

this error keeps popping up when i hit the navarro exit grid v.v aww all my saves were in 1 spot

thats funny you mention that. i downloaded this version of MM, and it had a boot up error. i had a suggestion to update sfall. did so. and it worked.

You need power armor training, either learn it from someone or read a book or being smart in one skill (I forget which one) but generally once you arrive at san Francisco you can buy the book at the vendor
 
ya. the point of the number sequence for versions is 1.22.33. 1 = main version. 2 = revision. 3 = subversion, usually for fixes and forks or testing.

But since iv known MegaMod, its ALWAYS been a work in progress. iv talked to MIB88 way back before integration of RP mod had began.

Most of this is like a hobby to MIB88, but it is something he said he wants to see through to the end. But, life always comes first. So, itll be slow. for how far it has gotten, id say hes done amazing work. i just ground out about 100 hours since my return post in this thread... last page ago.

The majority of bugs as of 2.47.8 look to be technical problems rather than writing, progression, and so forth. As MIB88 had told me before, its a bit difficult to do alot of this, especially the integration of RP, as every. single. item. and every. single. location. has to have its defs and IDs remade, and materials repathed for the new ID, and scripts repathed to the new ID. and make sure those scripts trigger things correctly as new IDs themselves. because theres things that could already exist with the said IDs.
So, thinking about it. ... theres so so so much more in megamod than we really think. its not a handful of mods, its mass quarry of Identifiers, scripts, text, and such that need to all be able to play nice with each other.

So, noticing that some improvements from 2.47.6 that i saw wernt being used, and the comments asking about stable version... there is no stable version of MegaMod yet. but since 2.47 forward, iv noticed that ALOT of the subversions have been working to make the most stable version possible.
It would be nice to see MM come to a 'safe point' in v_2.48. or if it warrants it, just v_2.5.

Then maybe, put up a donation system for help, a trello or gihub to organize and keep us in the loop... maybe take a small break and pump out what MM has done, the changes from vanilla, and describing what everything does or walkthroughs? idk. this last part is wishful thinking :p
