Fallout 2 mod Odd reactions when someone hits a collateral victim in restoration project

Usually, when a npc hits unintentionnaly someone during a fight(an innocent citizen who passes by, a cow) he will stay focuses on the enemies during the next turns.

Now I have noticed something odd, with the current version of the restoration project, if a pacific/non enemy character gets hurt(oups, X hit Y instead of Z message) he will also turn hostile to that target.

For example in Modoc when you have to protec the brahmines from the wolves, if your companions unwillingly hurt the brahmines, they also turn hostiles to the brahmines.

Maybe my memory is blurred but I think this wasn't the case before
 
It works like that normally.

If a character is considered friendly during a fight (has a green outline) like Lara and her gang during the fight against Tyler and they get accidentally hit by a companion, they won't attack each other.

If character is neutral (no green outline), then both parties turn hostile to each other. Even if NPC is cowardly like addicts in Den, your companion will go after them and finish them off.

I'm almost 100% sure that brahmins are neutral, not friendly during that mission.
