Rate the Music Video Above Yours

tbh, I’m kinda surprised this thread didn’t exist before, but thanks to @R.Graves for indirectly giving me the idea. Rules are simple; post a music video, rate the previous one.

I’ll start off with Tool:

Eerie. I've always had a thing for stop-motion clay animation like this. I don't like ratings, but if I had to choose I'd give this 9/10
This is a french song, so I'd recommend watching with subtitles.

Took me a bit to get into it, didn't find the music and the video fitting for one another but it grew on me. 7/10

This next one is basically a music video that never was. It's the storyboard that Jamie drew for the potential music video but the company who Gorillaz is licensed under would not give the go-ahead for another animated music video so they threw this together just so they could finish up the storyline.

6.5 or 7 out of 10 for the Gorillaz one, obviously it wasn't what they initially wanted but turned out just fine anyway. That's kinda cool.
Here's another stop motion video. Saw these guys live, opening for one of my favorite bands. They're pretty rad if you ask me.

6/10. I liked it, I just... something felt off. I dunno. 8/10, +2 discounting my bias.

Now, for the preface to my second one, I absolutely ADORE Tom Waits, and when I heard this song played in season 1 of The Punisher I lost my shit. Without further ado...

8/10 I’m not a huge Tom Waits fan by any means, but the video does a great job at presenting the harsh, depraved nature of Hell Broke Luce’s lyrics. The bombastic, in-your-face attitude is very much reflected through the crude use of CG.

4/10
[Lip sync problems and unintentional humor; the actual song is not terrible, but the performer seems out of it, and it's awfully repetitive; even for music .]

Aha. Must be a video ;)
(I did genuinely miss that part somehow; next time will be selected more for the video than the tune.)
