What do you guys and gals think of this up-coming game? Looks and sounds interesting; very Giger-esque and atmospheric.

Taken from the Ebb Software website http://www.scorn-game.com/presskit/

"Scorn is an atmospheric first person horror adventure game set in a nightmarish universe of odd forms and somber tapestry. It is designed around an idea of "being thrown into the world". Isolated and lost inside this dream-like world you will explore different interconnected regions in a non-linear fashion. The unsettling environment is a character itself. Every location contains its own theme (story), puzzles and characters that are integral in creating a cohesive lived in world. Throughout the game you will open up new areas, acquire different skill sets, weapons, various items and try to comprehend the sights presented to you."

It looks very promising, though granted these are mostly cutscenes. The finished product could end up being very different, and possibly have issues down the road. At this point, I feel pretty intrigued and hopeful it turns out to be a unique gaming experience. I like that there won't be a game hud, that the environment's meant to dictate where to go and what to do next, limited ammo and a need to use differing kinds of weapons, puzzles, and from what I've gathered consequences for actions.

Personally, I could not care less because it's just another kickstarter with more concept art than actual product. Good luck though. Maybe it actually turns out great.
With the way most of these kickstarter games go, there won't even be a game, let alone a game hud. But like I said, good luck and hopefully it is success.

Looks like someone made an interactive HR Giger painting. It looks cool as hell, but can't say any more before there's some info on gameplay.

Tony the Giger, now a part of your balanced xenomorph gestation.

It does looked like a legit in-game footage. But yeah, without more of the gameplay there's no way to get first impression about it.

With a healthy dose of Beksinski and Barlowe in it.
I like it, keeping an eye on it.

The second trailer on their website shows additional game footage, including: a puzzle and controls being manipulated, what looks like some portions of an area, and more scenery. I'm pretty stoked about this one. They've announced that there will be no sequels or DLC; once parts 1 and 2 are released, that's it.

Irwin John Finster, their kickstarter failed, yet a private investor contacted them and is funding the project.

Looks pretty interesting, visually speaking. However, in my opinion the game looks a bit closer to the work/design of Chet Zar, rather than Giger. Not that there would be anything wrong with that, both are great painters/designers.

Zdzisław Beksiński work would also fitt as inspiration. That guy ... was pretty exceptional in his own strange but intriguing ways.

A kickstarter game with a vague description and almost zero actual gameplay.
    Here we go again...
