Strangely, creators of both F1 and F2 missed a whole class of weapons - rifles! While we are seeing dozens of pistols, assault rifles and SMGs, there are only 2 or 3 actual, non-automatic rifles! What's up with that?!
And why there is only one revolver in Fallout 1, and another one in Fallout 2? Revolvers should've been way more widespread because they are less likely to jam and have a very simple construction.
And what the hell happened to 7.62mm?! Almost every damn rifle in US is chambered for it!
I think Black Isle should remove high-tech stuff like pulse and gauss weapons, and some too high-tech or experimental weapons like G11. We're playing post-nuclear adventure here, not 3D action game.
